Will eBay Work for Me?  Will This Business Plan Work for Me?

The answer is always the same: "No, eBay (or business plan, or eBook, or training course, or consultancy advice) will not work for you, not in a million years!"

It's you who makes a business work, not someone else; not a book, not a business plan, not eBay or Amazon - only you!

I acknowledge it’s usually good to have help to start and run a new business, but you are the one who does the 'work', not those other products or people.  If you don't follow another person's advice, if you don't list your products correctly on eBay, if you read a book about making money and you don't put the techniques into practice, you will not make money.  And it was all your fault, no other person or product deserves any blame at all. 

Taking books as our example, I promise you a book can never work for you; a book can give advice and tips, but it’s you who does the work, it’s you who takes action based on ideas contained in the book. 

And what distinguishes successful from unsuccessful people, on eBay and elsewhere, is the fact the former are prepared to find free or otherwise invest in new learning tools which they are also prepared to actually use.  The latter, the losers and also rans, don’t and won’t seek out new ideas – the vast majority will never apply those new techniques and they will constantly rant and rave and seek refunds on the basis that 'the product did not work for me!'.
