For Drawing Traffic To Your eBay Shop
To my mind one of the cheapest
and most effective ways to drive traffic to your Shop is by promoting
some products at Auction and Buy It Now in traditional 1, 3, 5, 7, and
10 day listings, where the purpose of those listings is also to draw
attention to Shop items, not purely to sell your products.
I have seen many hugely
successful Shop owners promoting just one item through traditional
auction and Buy It Now listings to attract people to eBay Shops
containing many thousands of similar type products.
These tips will help you get
started with this easy, low cost, traffic generating technique:
* Avoid short term
listings – 1, 3, 5, 7 days – gain maximum coverage using ten day
listings, choose Auction not Buy It Now to avoid items selling soon and
minimising your exposure.
* Use low auction starting
prices, with no reserve, to encourage more people to open your listing
and read about your Shop.
* Mention your Shop in
auction titles, sub-title, in your descriptions, on clickable links
taking visitors to your eBay Shop or ‘About Me’ page.
I have those links included in
all my Auction and Buy It Now listings and I make them as prominent as
possible by using large and colourful fonts, graphics, stars and other
embellishing devices. Yes, they are that important!
