Most people selling eBooks on eBay do so at
a loss, few expect to make money this way. The vast majority of eBook
sales, especially inexpensive ones, are to grow a customer base for

* It goes without saying you should include links for products that bear
relevance to the main theme of your eBook. So, for instance, if your
eBook is about selling for profit on eBay, you could add affiliate links

* The aim is to recommend a product or service the reader definitely
must have to benefit from your book. So if, for example, your book is
about making money from email marketing, the reader needs reliable
mailing list software, preferably from a recognised international
company offering generous affiliate commissions. So inside your book
you’d reveal all about making money from email marketing and at
strategic points throughout the text you emphasise the need for a
reliable mailing program followed by a few personal recommendations.
* Instead of writing glowing and just as unbelievable testimonials for a
product, try mentioning why the product will benefit the reader and use
very subtle linking strategies. The aim is to be seen as offering useful
information about a product which the reader can inspect or ignore as he
or she sees fit. The alternative ‘hard sell’ can be off-putting and
generate reader suspicion. So, say your main book is about making money
from AdSense and inside the book you promote a program designed to
reveal the highest paying AdSense key words and phrases.
The subtle approach goes something like this:
“It takes just the same amount of time and effort to earn several
dollars each time someone clicks on an AdSense promotion at your site as
it does to make mere cents, as long as you known which are the highest
paying key words and phrases. If you don’t know which keywords and
phrases to use, then apply to test market THIS PRODUCT. It works for me
and it’s well worth the modest quarterly investment.” Your affiliate
link incidentally would be embedded behind the name of the recommended
product.
The ‘hard sell’ goes something like this:
“Did you realise some key words and phrases earn upwards of $50 a time

your web sites? You’ll be shocked to see how much money you’ll make from
every web page you upload with AdSense promotions based on $50, even
$100 and $200 key words and phrases. I’m making hundreds of dollars
